Currently sat on the allycats but I'm in two minds to change them I have a love for ats cups/ classics for some reason but seems to be quite a few running them so meh. There is a small amount of bubbling in the paint on the pass side front wing but other than that is mint. Any input to what to do with her would be great. Want to put my own stamp on it but not sure on what as don't want to ruin the originalness off it. Do fancy some derby square lights tho :)

Cheers

  • I lowered this was a phil J kit, with lowering top mounts, wasnt low enough, so lopped a coil (might have been 2) off on the front and had the back sitting almost on the lowest ring, but had to bring

Let me know if you plan on selling the allycats. I sold them to weena (Pete) about 2.5 yrs ago and would like them back if offered!

Lovely car!

Starter motor went kaput the other day so managed to get another one fitted today off a 1.1 golf engine I had spare. So took a few rubbish phone pics as it needs a good clean.

Not really done anything in the way of progress. But should be getting a few bits picked up.

But have a poop pic from outside my house.

Looks so sweet, I remember when this was for sale. You might have a problem with ATS Cups/Classics depending on what width youre planning on going with, most you will fit under the rear arch with some work is like 7j or something daft. Noticed you have your seat like mine ;) Silly far back making sure no one can sit behind you haha

Yeah arches will need some work soon anyway so will try get them.rolled at the same time, two birds and all that :). Yeah just an excuse not to give people lifts and it scraps to fudge with people in the back.

How far down are you then? Looks around 70mm-ish? Quite tempted to run some AlleyCats on mine instead of the Porsches I have :L

Any progress mate? :)

Love it. I rather wish I still had a MK2 Breadie, especially an early one with high spec like this. I just bought a set of Alley-Cats identical to yours but rather tired and badly painted black, that colour scheme looks the bomb so I think I'll be stealing that :D

I lowered this was a phil J kit, with lowering top mounts, wasnt low enough, so lopped a coil (might have been 2) off on the front and had the back sitting almost on the lowest ring, but had to bring it up to try and level it out.

I miss this car so much, was so clean when I got it standard on 18,000miles
