i have guppies a few diffrent types of mollys and a few diffrent types of platties peppered corys neon tetras 2 rams and bristle nose plecs brown and albino

I have a 6x2.5 foot tank in the spare room...i used to keep Oscars then Gold Severums but since the

last of the big fish died the tank is only holding two black and white stripped talking catfish.They

are nocturnal and the only time i see them is when i clean the tank

Only got a crap photo of mine - few livebearers (platties & guppies), black angels, red phantom tetras, cardinal tetras, several corydoras sterbae (tank bred by the old man), siamese flying foxes and a few kuhli loaches. Photo is before the tetras were added.

Only bought the livebearers because I used to breed them as a lad. Amazed how shite the quality of them is these days. Used to be able to get 5 or 6 generations of inbreeding to get the characteristics you wanted before you'd get spastic fish. This lot were giving birth to spids first generation. Still, the offspring make free live food for the angels.

looks cool mate i like it i had all guppies in my tank before and got bored so i went to shell dwellers and black calvs and srtuff like that but i got bord of them fighting so i swapped them for 6 of everything i have in the tank now i onley got them akll yesterday and they are settling in nicely hopefully start breeding soon and should get some really nice ones as i have some very bonny malke guppies thanks carl

Ahhh i wish i got a photo of the setup i used to have... i had a 3ft tank in my bedroom with a load of cichlids. my dad and my brother both had them too. I had ones from Tanganyika and they had malawi's...

at one point I had about 4 or 5 different generations of the same family... they were constantly breeding. I must have had like 200 babies but one day i came home from school and they were no more :( i think 3 of them survived... fuck knows what happened!

my dad has a 3ft tank with malawi cichlids in it, which is mostly yellow labidochromis these days as they seem pretty good at inbreeding and not being retarded, where as the others we had have slowly died.

We've also got a magnum plec that has got significantly bigger than when i bought him

So hard to get pictures, mines needing some love at the minute, plants gone on a mad one!

Anyone want any free plants? Seems a shame to keep composting mine - I've got spesh lighting in the tank which makes them grow like buggery.

I've got a few fistfuls of Java Fern (in the photo of my tank above it's about double the size of the bunch underneath the lowest orange/black Platty)....

...and two large bunches of Cryptocoryne Retrospiralis with mature roots:

If anyone wants them I can post in a Jiffy Bag at your expense.

I've got a small fluval edge with a couple of fish in :) Ill take more photo's tonight but I've been growing my bristle nose plec for quite some time now, he's proved quite the charicter :) (3 years)
