Made a straight through for the craic :D :D lol needless to say it sounds more like a v8 tractor than a little polo :L

Also put twin tip on the end which looks tidy :)

I haven't a clue to be honest lad i bought them with the rails on them. By the looks of it there's just brackets been welded to the bottom of the seats and then the polo rails just bolt onto it :)

How much did the vrt cost? Pm me if you prefer!

How much did the vrt cost? Pm me if you prefer!

The vrt was 460 which wasn't too bad consider its a 16v. She put the emissions as the lowest and didn't even check the emissions. Thank fuck she didn't because I have a piper cross air intake on it so they would have been sky high

That's not too bad, still €460 is a good bit of cash!

Are those coil overs for a 6n2? The fronts look like 6n's.. Do you have larger springs too?

Ye it wasn't too bad. Got the car for cheap anyway

The 6n2 and 6n coils are the same. I have lowering springs in it but they arent that much lower than standard.

great progress buddy, get them coils in then flat floor and she'll be the business

From what I remember the rears are the same but the fronts are different. They use a larger spring which isn't secured at the top of the coiles like the 6n's.. When I got my coil overs I was supplied with the small spring like yours and a larger one.. Where you get them?

Not 100% sure that they must use/can only use the larger spring but I'm fairly sure.. I'm open to correction though!

I bought them new in a local auto styling shop called MCG so if there's any problems I'm sure they will exchange them. I will let you know when I put them in in a week or two. :)

That's the first I heard about the different size springs but you could be right. :)

Looking good. Nice progress!

But, as C.Mark mentioned, they are not 6n2 front coilovers, and they are not the same. Please don't try and bodge them in. :?

Unfortunately shops like mcg haven't got a clue.. Bring them back and swap them over or get your cash back... They will probably tell you that they are right however!

I'm after taking a better look at the coils and they must have give me the wrong ones as i ordered TA Tecknixs and these are tuning art.

Cheers c.mark for letting me know they were the wrong coils before I put them in and make a balls of them hahah

Turns out your man in mcg didn't know either till I asked him about it. Ordered me in a new set noproblem anyway :)

Had to go buy new top mount aswell as the old one was fucked :(

Got them in anyway and there's still 60mm to go in the front and 50 on back with the helpers out.

Might splash out on some new rubber to get it to sit better but it will do for the time being.

Will get more pics soon just didnt get the chance :)
