YEA get these pics of the cage and wheels up fast, you're my inspiration for my Polo (almost the same colour)!!

Seen OMP cages on ebay for £400.... considering it in a few months!!

omp cages are shite. buy one if you dont want one that will fit

Got one in my 205. It takes a bit of persuading and the 'universal mounts' take a bit of modification but overall I'm impressed with the quality.

yeah in all fairness the peugeot OMP cages I've fitted arent half bad in comparison to the polo ones!

yeah second that, i reckon the omp 205 cages fit pretty well.....

Come onnnnnnnnnn Chris..... we're patiently waiting lol.

nah not doing much on the car. it refuses to run properly, going to look at it tomorrow. doesn't help living 130miles from it. but heres some design work for it i've been on with:

Chris ................... awsome work. The best things in life are worth waiting for. Regards David

this is true. i cant build the car while at uni the way i want it. its coming to no harm tucked away. when i have free time i regularly cruise ebay and do general research and design, creating the master plan. my theory is, go big, or go home!

just need to tidy the wiring up!

looks ace mate! love to av' a go in it one day.

jealous. :disgust:

it wasnt permanently wired :?

I have an OMP cage in my polo and have no problems with the fitting.

As long as you can weld brackets for the front legs to sit and bolt to it's fine.

  • Author

sorry but if you say an OMP cage fits fine then you clearly have no concept of good fitting roll cages.

How can you judge without seeing it?

  • Author

i've seen several of them. the cage design hasn't changed, regardless of how you fit it, the cage doesn't fit the car nicely.

How can you judge without seeing it?

tbh, nobody has ever seen pinches, so he could just be an ill fitting googlebot!

re the car, i love the dildo inspired gearknob! but looking more like a rallyable car!
