what engine mods you doing? cept the awsome venieer pully? any chance yuo can tell me how u made it? i have and idea but its prob not going to work lol

i might be completely wrong but looking at that inlet manifold it looks like your gonna be using throttle bodies?

you can run any weber fitment 45 carb or throttle body on that manifold. never seen another one

I finally got around to fixing this this week!

basically, i smacked a large bit of yellow armco, sideways, on boxing day last year (bit slow i know...)

after showing it the slide hammer and some paneling it needed the tiniest amount of filler and then top coating. I actually had to paint the whole quarter, so the arch trims, window and trim was all removed and refitted

that air intake system is from a mark3 golf, I've got the same on my polo too

would i have to get one off a scrap golf or can you get them at a VW dealer? if so how much roughly?

£2 from the scrappy, found on 1.4 and 1.6 golfs

it's not in yet no, waiting for some more bits and a decision on the fuelling side of things.

loving this little rally car.cant wait to see the ew engine dropped in it!

It's all slowly coming together, although planning to run the standard efi for a while.

Just need to buy an exhaust manifold, and a paddle clutch and a few service items and drop it in!

When you had the rocker powdercoated has it been done on the underside too?

nah, just the outside - didnt see the point of doing it inside too.
