Updates needed!

Also i want one of those manifolds!! They hard to find or they off a standard car?

Updates you say?

well: Over the summer myself and my friend Jay set to stripping the rest of the shell to be prepped.

we started by stripping the remaining interior out. Annoyingly i left my 24mm socket in London and couldn't take the steering wheel off to get the dash out

then we moved onto the front end

we finished stripping the bay and dropped the old engine out.

the car will have the bay and the inner wings stitched, all the unnecessary holes welded up (servo etc as i'll be running a bias box inside the car)

and then this pallet turned up, Safety Devices cup car 13point bolt in cage.

so we got onto trial fitting the cage with a seat and a few other bits, made some measurements for the new seat rails to go in. the cage will be repainted at some point either in the satin black again or to match the cars medium blue.

so essentially the next step is to get the car down to the unit and firstly crack the grinder out and remove a load of brackets and stuff that are no longer needed, cut the old seat rails out and clean up all the seams and remove the old underseal.

Cool no probs.. :) just wondered how much chopping was needed and what you did regarding the clutch and throttle pedal :)

i bought a 3 pedal assembly, so it has it's own clutch and accelerator, just made custom cable ends to accommodate.
