I acquired these wheels over the space of a few years, intending to build the ultimate set for my two mk1 Golf project cars. Unfortunately the Golfs are long gone, and I'm clearing out my wheel collection to put the money towards going travelling/funding a new car. Therefore, I am offering 6 complete sets of Compomotive Turbo split rims. These are my all time favourite wheels and you could certainly say I'm obsessed!

There are a range of PCD's, but I believe there are two sets 4x100, two 4x95.25, one 4x101, and one 4x98. There are a few spare centres also. The dishes and barrels are all in pairs or sets of four, and again, there is a good range of sizes so you can build the perfect set for your car and sell the rest on if you wish. These are all in very good condition with minimal curbing (apart from the obviously damaged ones; there are spares to replace these), but do require polishing. I know this is an awful advert with awful pictures, but I will update it is soon as I can. Here are some terrible pictures to give you an idea:

These wheels rarely come up for sale, and I've spent an absolute fortune on them (even to the point of buying complete cars to get hold of the wheels!). I've come to the point where I just really want to get rid of them, and the easiest and most convenient way is just to sell them as a one lot. I have previously had interest from people building track cars because the spares are ideal for them so I may have to go down that route, but thought it was worth putting them up here just in case. I am looking for £4200 for the lot. If people are interested I will split but they will be £900+ a set. I had quotes from a local guy for £300 to polish all the dishes, and £250 to powdercoat all the centres. Stainless allen bolts can be had very cheap, and I'd be looking for £1100 a set fully refurbished (I don't really have the time to do this currently, but please enquire if interested. Although the PCD's aren't all perfect for VAG applications, these wheels are extremely sought after for classic mini's, and other marques.

IIRC Compomotive did one sized centre and different sized barrels and lips to take them up to 14".

I know, shameless hoarding! I appreciate I'm not really helping the sale with these photos because they are all dirty and look a bit of a state, but just to give a better idea of what's there. I have two sets of 4x100, and one set 4x101. There are 2 sets that are 4x95.25 centre-lock fitting. However, I have full access to a CNC milling machine at the moment so these will be converted to 4x100 by enlarging (milling) the small centre lock lug holes and fitting tapered steel inserts. The final set are mag-turbo's. They have a 12-hole fitment, and were used on some record breaking land speed car from a long time ago! I have been speaking to a local magnesium alloy specialist (used to be manager at Dymag), who has said he can plug the holes. I will then re-drill them to 4x100, making all 6 sets 4x100 or 4x101 (although may do 1/2 sets 4x108 for classic escorts etc.)! He also said he can crack test and treat the magnesium, and powder coat gold for a very reasonable price. This will obviously increase their value massively. I am now planning on refurbing the lot of them and selling individually because I've already had a lot of interest in individual sets. I would still rather sell the lot complete so let me know if you're interested!

I have a lot of other parts available, but here is a quick idea of dish/barrel possibilities. As said, there are another 8+ barrels and dishes in different sizes. For now:

Alright could you measure the outside diameter of the centres please also what hole are thay at what pcd and last of all what size bore have the dishes got?

Thanks very much for the constructive input! (from somebody trying to sell a 13 year old Polo with more than 100000 miles for £3000) Just to point out, £4200 divided by 6 is £700 a set, and I would be very open to offers on the whole lot. I have seen sets go for around £750 (mostly with useless fitment, centre lock, extra holes in them etc.), I have also seen sets sell for £1150+. The chance to set the wheels up to the perfect width and offset is a very rare opportunity, and would cost a fortune if you were to buy a set for £750 and then have to buy all new dishes and barrels. As stated, I would rather they went as one lot, although I understand this is quite unlikely.

Dishes are available in almost all sizes, and have been sent off to the polisher today; as soon as they're back, and I'm happy with them, the centres will be sent off for stripping and painting/coating.

Plans have changed a bit! Going to refurb and sell the three 4x100 (well 4x98, 4x100 and 4x101) sets, then open to offers on the rest. Still open to offers on the whole lot. First set refurbed....

The dishes are a little dull because they need a final polish. The other centres will be going gold, don't worry! The rest of the dishes are still at the polishers, but coming along nicely.
