So i got a 6n2 se afh 100bhp after a bit of searching from a dealer who had no idea how rare the car was and had it up for £850 fsh so i snapped it up after having 160bhp under my rite foot i wasn't going to settle for a 75bhp polo but thats where the fun began the head gasget was on its way and the car seemed to have a lot of crank case pressure so only after a week of having my new polo the engine was in pieces and i did a full overhall new shells rings ported and polished the head cleaned everything and put it back together and now its running sweet and the mods can begin got a set of 40mm springs and shocks off a mate for free will do til my

Coilovers come then dewipered and de badge the bk and changed the grill then got a bargain set of bbs ra's for £57 with tyres painted the calipers blue and gave it a good wash can't wait to polish it and i changed all the speakers for pioneers and got my pioneer h/u in not bad for a months work

Done Some more bits to the little polo today fitted. 6000k hids smd side lights made some smd led bulbs up for my fogs replaced all the interior lights for smd leds and changed the brake lights for led bulbs but got a idea for the rear lights but that will come later also changed the fog light and reverse lights for cree led bulbs super bright and i changed the numberplate bulbs for some smd leds i made up. And fitted my cut down plates looks smarter and took the backing off my rear badge and stuck it on so colour coded now.

Looks clean, I'm definitely jealous of them wheels especially for that price!! Only thing I'd change would be the grill back to the original one but it's not my car

It was everything i ever do to my cars is done my me all my labour and love went into it but I'm doing tomany miles to keep a high compression high reving Honda that was eating £20 a day in petrol so now got the little dub to do up.

Been busy today fitting my new vr6 splitter its not a easy fit took the bumper off to help me line it up and I didn't want to remove to many of the clips and get the best fit possible had to cut about 4" out the middle and also cut the bottom of the bumper a bit to get the center reses of the splitter fit perfect. I'm good with a dremmal so used that to open the original clip holes up so the splitter clips in more and had to heat it so get the bends round the bumper to match once i had it on and lined up had to cut the ends off but its there going to use some tiger seal to hold it on tight but I'm impressed with the looks and it beats being the same as everyone and getting the gti splitter.

Some new pics and replaced my front wheelbearing still havnt cleaned it lol!ordered a ram air induction kit and some red dot front pads should help with braking but need to fix my abs but everything else is running good.

My fast road pads come today set of red dot racing pads can't wait to get these in as the pads the car came with are poor to say the least

The vr6 slitter didn't last long a week after fitting it and a long road with spee bumps and bye bye splitter so back to the oem one think I'm going to have to join the masses and fit a gti one.

Though id add some updates of the polo been busy doing bits on it sorting the body work and getting it thru the mot so what's new fitted a ram air induction kit gave the ca a full detail inside and out now started to fit the sounds I'm going for a stealth install and hiding everything so started with my 4channel amp for the mids and its going inside the rear drivers side panel here's some pics of how its coming along

A quick update on the mods on the polo so what have i done now fitted my coilovers and had to remove my anti roll bar as was knocking and had to grease a squeaky bush as was driving me mad. Fitted all of my speakers and amp to run them that was all hidden and now just need to build my sub box and finish off my sounds, I've also been cleaning up my rims and re polishing the lips and i also detailed all of my wheel arches and gave the bottom of my engine a good clean up.

Looks good! Do you've speakers installed in the back seats of the car? Or just the two in the front doors?

Fitted them all round if you look in the ice section for my 6n2 stealth install and its a full rite up of the install. Thanks

Hi its the 100bhp 16v model rather than being badged as a 1.4 I've also heat wrapped the exhaust manifold and fitted the cold ram air system it runs really nice fast and fun spent the day on the body work today 5hours of detailing the paintwork your never know it was 11years old now its mint !

Heres some updates on the polo changed the front tyers to 175 60 14 nankang tour sports lowered the coilovers a bit more cut the bumper hangers back for more clearance had to remove the anti roll bar as was knocking and got it tracked and the camber set up so the cars going strate now! Todays job was boot handle removal and smoothing and painting just needs one more cote of paint then clear coating took all day but looks awesome will get a pic up soon.

They told me my car was to low lol!!!

Been busy today smoothing a few bits off started the back bumper and smoothed the rear rub strips and resprayed it thats looking good now and filled the bonnet notch and will paint that tomorrow and then I'm filling the front numberplate recess and moving the plate down a bit. Heres todays pics.

A quick update got a Sharan badge for the rear witch I colour coded and got a set of bbs wheel centres and moved the front plate down a bit what do you guys think of the progress?
