Not much left do do now

Wire up

Down pipe

Shaft to weld up

Fit pedals and all good in my hood

So what is new on your polo have you fit you new turbo??

Looking good!! Keep it up pal!! What shows will you be at this year? Is this the 150 or 180bhp engine??

Tbh i dont think ill be at any big shows i might do vw festival leeds but beside that am not really arsed loool

Its a 180 aeb from a passat looking to get it up to around 300 in the near future and that would make me happy.

Hows the vtec build going anyway i haven't seen a update in a while

Another turbo mk4, this is what I like to see lol

Cheers mate yeah i just had to pull the cat out the bag after seeing all the polo boys getting there 20vt builds going on well.

300bhp would be nice :)

No huge updates ATM just waiting on parts now, iv got to have it finished by April as I'm having an operation on my shoulder so ill be out of action for months after that

Awesome another converted valver!

Needs a K04 on it ;)

I might make it to harewood house festival if its done in time mate. I've heard its £30 to get in now though???

It would make a good magazine picture all these 6ns in a line with bonnets up.

Very true we'll have to have one when you put a proper engine in yours ;) haha

Yeah hurry up cos i want to see this thing go and when i do i just might get my b16 build finished off but for now the simple 20vt is on the go.

K04 is a must but cost too bloody much ill go with a td04 / 05 from a subaru i can get one cheap and get a manifold done cheap aswell

Thats fair enough... ill be going with a GT28 or a T4 when i rebuild it next year.

Matt

This was the issues i had with the right hand manifold

IMG00770-20121014-1537.jpg

I could not get the pipe work to clear the back of the head lamp and the front panel

IMG00768-20121014-1536.jpg

And before anyone asks i built the engine in my old green shell first then swaped it into my new black beauty lool

Pisssssssssssed off mane!

Day off work and i cant do shit

Ahh yeah I've had the same problem on mine now... so put the S3 inlet back on. But I've had to port the manifold out as its a big valve head and the S3 inlet is small valve.

Yours an AEB engine?

i think what you need is a spacer like this

http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=489266

cant imagine it being too expensive to have made

Yeah did see that but with me already struggling to get the throttle body to miss the bonnet and already cut out slam i decided against it, plus it should flow alot better :)

yes told you so lool urs right hand drive cars it dont work cos we cant get the engine right to the back cos of the m/c.

but yeah mine is a aeb with all the mk4 golf setup and amk s3 inlet,,just a quick one tho is my aeb a big port head coz i have read a few people using them aeb heads on there high power setups

just done a quick check on my engine and oh shit am running a large port head with a small port inlet,,,,what is the worse that can happen ?????? am running it std for now so i dont think i will see the power lost

Edited by bantan

I heard of it causing air flow issues for the head and turbulence I've done mine to be on the safe side.
