means i will probably have the most overkill engine crane in clubpolo history...

Bought a stainless 4-2-1 manifold woo!

So now i just need:

Alternator belt

6n alternator pulley

Thermostat housing - water pipe seal

Clip to hold thermo housing to water pipe

Replace conrod bolts

Weld other 2 inlet runners and file surface flat

Make up some inlet gaskets

You'd best be prayin it was your oil control rings filling the cylinder with oil that quick.

As said iv known a friend run without and was literally nowhere near as bad as what yours was

time will tell lol ./

Was his engine newly built tho? That could be the difference between an engine with no oil rings and a engine with shafted oil rings and everything else carrying general wear

A mate a a sierra with fucked oil rings and that smoked like a trooper, it used to use almost as much oil as petrol but it was piss cheap back then so he just kept topping it up rather than pay out for a engine rebuild

so I'm finally back at work! :)

today i painted my spare cam cover to see if i preferred it to polished, safe to say it looks 10x better.

also took my spare cbr600s in with bike rubbers to make manifold, had to get the middle runners red hot and move them outwards a bit to make them fit. gonna make the outer runners shortly.

also had to butcher mark croxs alternator as whoever did the nut up done it far too tight and somehow squashed the washer into the pulley making it impossible to remove. hahahaa

so tomorrows plan is to paint up the alternator and engine mount and get them properly fitted.
