Cheers man! It's not fully straight but it's good enough for a home job, could have gone horribly wrong so I'm more then happy with it. Hasn't rained too much but is actually raining pretty hard right now so will find out tomorrow morning if it's water tight. Has been in the rain that we have had though :)

How do you fit in a polo with those massive balls?!

I would do it to mine but would be to scared that my car would be written off!

^^ this is what I said I would never do it to my own car. Gotta have some serious balls to just start cutting a hole In the roof but he was set on have an open air roof so we made it happen and still can't believe it went pretty well.of centre on the rear slightly but can't be notice to much.

Still think u should of just bought an mx5 haha

Haha that actually cracked me up!!

There was the massive risk of completely fucking it up and having a massive hole in my roof and I did chop and change my mind as wether to do it or not a million times. Then just decided I need to go for it, as long as you measure it a million times like we did then cut it smaller by 10cm al round you know your ok and then just shave it off slowly all round and constantly try to put the roof in so you knew where to make miner adjustments etc.

Would have all gone wrong if it wasn't for matty being there I bet so I owe him a lot.

I cut the hole to big for the sub in my subwoofer box so don't think I'll be attempting this any time soon!

Bet it'll shock a lot of people when you tell them it didn't come as an open air.

That's the thing most of my mods are OEM so to most people looking at it it will just look like a high spec colour concept lowered on borbets  so doesn't get much attention

amazing work lads!! open air TDI's the way

You've ran out of optional extras to fit now!

Cheer Jonny. There's still Air-con/climate control :) and dash needs to come out to be replaced anyway so...

Also wired in a R-click remote central locking kit in the week, flip key like the new style and works a treat
