Where did you get the flip key cut? I put an r-click remote locking kit in mine, but still haven't got round to having the key cut as nowhere in town would do it.

Haha it was open for a few minutes but was pissing down.

Turns out I also had a water leak through roof since being sprayed at bodyshop so I've stripped it all out again and ran some sealant around it so I'll leave roof lining out for a week of so to test for leaks.

With the amount of rain there was I'm surprised my roof didn't leak! Sealant should sort it out any way. If not just put a tonne of sealant around it, it'll be under the roof lining any way.

When my mate saw it at the show he didn't believe me when I said you'd fitted the roof, had to show him the build thread!

So decided to do a EGR delete and full straight through on the derv

EGR delete kit came from darkside developments which are a diesel tuning company and some of you may have seen their yellow lupo Tdi going down the Santa pod strip. Couldn't recommend them any more!

Then CAT was cut out and just welded edges back together as it has a slight step in it which would of meant bending the straight pipe. All silencers cut out and removed

For some reason I didn't actually take any pics of it all fitted

Also as we did it on a Sunday and realised with the end being straight it was sending the exhaust gasses up the rear bumper and through the rear vents so needs must at 5pm on a Sunday

It's pulls completely different and is much more responsive, will be getting a map to aid it too.

I've had cone filters n a de-cat on many a tdi and they rip.... dunno about the iccle 1.4 tdi.... but on my old volcanes, used to sound crazy

It's no rocket but it definitely a lot better pulling through the gears! I kinda like the sound

Not done too much but seen as I keep getting fucked around trying to sell my hella LED rear lights I've decided to take the lenses off and get a spare set of 6n2 rears to take the lenses off and swap over. Haven't squired a cheap enough set yet though
