So today I went to Matty's garage and finally levelled the car! Fronts are down on the very last thread but helpers still in as I'm not after crazy lows just to sit nicely. Also put my wind deflectors on and a sticker that I got in respect of Paul walker as he and his skyline from F+F are basically what got me into cars and inspired me to do what I do now (bought from a place where proceeds go to Paul's charity... Apparently but who really knows) it is actually baby blue but flash from camera made it look white

This cars so nice man! Love the Paul Walker touch!

Headlining and trims etc will be coming out in the next few weeks for colour change and then the high line sun visors can finally go in and that's the interior pretty much how I want it

Yeah man I know this pretty decent guy haha.

Yeah suspension sorted, guy who sold me coilovers had put the 60mm bump stop in with coilovers own bump stop so had some made crazy ride slamming around but it's out and it's like driving a different car haha

Seatbelts came out of my mates corsa, they need a little work to get them in but hopefully nothing too serious :) will see how the lights turn out and if I don't like them they're yours bud. Yeah I know there's a fair bit of work needed to get the vents in :(

Trial fitted the red tint on a rear light so I could get an idea of what it will look like.

Struggling massively to stop it from creasing as I'm coming around it as aswell as the curvature of the light from side to side it also curves top to bottom so it's constantly creasing, tried heat gun etc no luck so this may take a while haha but here's the general idea I'm going for

Gave her a quick hand wash today and checked as to why my boot open illumination light is on constantly, slight water leak in through the spoiler stud holes we cut so just need to put some more sealant on and get a new boot switch. That's all for now

Went and picked up a brand new GTI splitter from VW that my brother got me for Christmas

Yup and as you see tonight it sets it off nicely

So the car has developed a few issues which will slow progress but not to much, front wipers go constantly as soon as ignition is and stay on forever at a constant speed, can use the stalk to the faster mode but no intermittent or off. Kinda embarrassing on the days it's not raining sitting in traffic and the wipers are permanently on

Also the sender in the fuel tank has shat it's self I think as normally when I turn the ignition on and wait for glow plug light to go out I can hear a squishing noise from under rear seats which I assuming is the sender priming the fuel circuit? It now doesn't make a noise and is struggling to start yay

Nearly all polo wipers do it it's stress ha my girlfriend polo was stuck on as fast as they could ha was funny lasted 3 weeks untill fuse blew ha
