AlexG40's CLG. New Pics 12th Aug Page 3

It took me a while to work out what this had different in the bay - its missing the little coffee cup holder...

Did you remove it and use the bolts and lower half to hold the boost pipe stable still?

The old lower bracket was knackered so I bought a new one, but then I decided I liked it better without it on. Plus I have a Pacet fan fitted so I have no real need to cover that section of the bay. The boost pipe cannot really move due to the way VW engineered it through a small gap next to the rad. There is a minimal amount of play but nothing major.

any more pics of the engine bay?

Coilies came from some place called Deutcheperformance.

Can't remember the exact price but it was around £600 exchange.

What you might call a luxury item.

Your car is well nice, really like what you have done undrer the bonnet. What have you done to make your charger look so clean, is that just elbow grease or have you sprayed it?

The bay is a combination of hard cleaning, painting and polishing. The charger was cleaned AND painted.

Took some more photos today after the Stanford Hall show. Thought I'd better make the most of the nice weather while it lasts!
