The front wheels..

they do sit flush and with the plastic arches on should be fine.. Even more so when I can remove the wheel spacers

Spent the day working on the brake master cylinder setup

Cut off the old bolts on a spare pedal box and welded in new 90mm M8 bolts

Man tha is such a neater way of doing things. I have a mind to re-do mine the same! Still, spunked too much on it to go back now!

Your going to need a hell of a lot of those pacers! How close is the reservoir to the bulkhead now?

Yeah I was really pleased, and I don't have to cut the bar on the pedal

its about 5-8mm from the bulk head.

What I did find is that the 6n reservoir didnt fit the G60/ 16v master cylinder with the standard rubber bungs in. Luckily I bought a 6n master cylinder and reservoir from eBay so I used the bungs from that and it fitted fine.

i can see why your having a problem with the reservoir now lol it didnt click before as i was wondering why you were having so much trouble and mine was mega straight forward its because i have no firewall bulkhead bit i removed mine for a smooth bay so its obviously not in the way lol

looking good so far Mark i need to go update my thread soon done quite a bit

I've cut my rod now, although I'll take the pedal box from the coupe, and maybe move to a set up like this. Just sold my golf reservoir though. Grrr!

Cheers.. its finally nearly there.. was trying to fit the radio and bluetooth on Sunday. So the fact that I'm messing with that kinda stuff means I'm not far off. MOT should be booked in next weekend :)

the rears have a 3mm spacer also, clear the rear callipers

oh right nah i meant have you spaced them so they sit inline with the front wheels arch wise

Oh no... I haven't. The rears sit fine I would like the fronts to fit where the rears do. As I think if I push it hard the fronts will scrub :(

hmm yeah i see your point, unless your running pretty stiff suspension then flush wheels will rub as I've found out

Really looking forward to seeing this at polo-show, there's gonna be so many epic cars!

needed to drain the radiator so I could get the exhaust manifold off to wrap it.. so I took the car out side which lead to me giving it a wash down :)
