Cheers.. its all about planning.... and getting the butler to do it! :-D

Started making plans for the next part of the project:

The big part of this will be using the AVY bottom end and making this a 1.6. I've though about using ITB's rather than the carbs but I think the cost would increase significantly and there is the limited space at the back of the engine means I think I would have to cut the bulkhead. Which I don't really want to do. But it is a rather tempting route :unibrow:

Other bits are:

- Stripping the interior to lay some further sound deadening and also the uprated wiring for the speakers

- Fit a replacement radio

- Carpet the rear turrets and under the rear seats

- fit eye bolts for harnesses

- run a single brake line to the rear brakes and possibly add a regulator

- fit some door membrain

- tart up the engine bay

- replace alternator

- fit HnR Suspension

- Clean engine bay gubbins

- Get it pin striped

- might put the side rubbing strips back on!

i think thats basically it...

looks amazing mark

cheers guys! :) I was in 2 minds on if I should do it or not but I think its come out well. Jim really is a bit of a master at these!

Haven't got it fitted yet. to be honest the rest of the engine will let it down a bit so I might wait for the new engine to be in before I fit it! :)

yeah he is really good at his work. It could take a while for him to fit you in/get it done as he can be rather busy but his work is top notch! :)

Yeah It is nice having it back but I must admit I haven't used it a lot and with the weather (and salt) drawing in I don't know if it will be used that much this year. It will be out for the RR day in Feb though and maybe with the new engine.. maybe! :)
