Sam's mk2f Bready

Featured Replies

So,

My mk2 is finally going off of the road soon, since my parents are moving to a bigger house with a triple garage, I can finally go ahead and do the engine swap and everything I want to do in the warmth.

In the mean time, I needed to get another car whilst my mk2 is SORN. after a month or two of looking around, this pops up.

1994 1.3 CL.

All mine for a smashing £200.

Drives remarkably well and the interior is stunning. A lovely clean example.

As soon as I got home today I started to tackle the rust and dents:

Rust grinded off the best I could, and coated with a couple of layers of paint:

So.

My plans are to keep it relatively standard. I will sort out the rust on the driver's side and sort the dents. Put a nice thick layer of underseal and maybe do one or two relatively tasteful and simple mods, as I want it to be standard.

Basically just a minor resto project and daily :)
