UPDATE - Had a few issues with the polo starting recently. Sometimes it would start then I would drive to work then go to drive home then it wouldn't start so i would have to get bump started! Turns out that the starter motor was dodgy and my battery was shot so got them replaced and it has seemed to have sold the problem. Also, the polo would idle really strange as in it would just dip and then rev on its own. So I cleaned the throttle body out with some cleaner and now it runs like a dream and feels a lot more quicker. Also managed to fit some heko wind deflectors today.

UPDATE - Fitted my GTI grille today

UPDATE - decided to do something different with my headliner so opted for camo! Just need to wait for the glue to dry and sort out a few edges and it will be going back in the car.

UPDATE - Polo has been off the road for over a week, it wouldn't rev and the engine management light and EPC light was on. So I replaced the pre cat lambda, MAP sensor but this didn't solve the problem. So I checked everything again and turns out my brake vacuum hose was split so I replaced that and bingo it solved the problem! Also managed to put my new headlining in.

Looking great matey. Where did you get your head lining from? And this might be stupid question but did you take the old fabric off 1st??

UPDATE - just cleaned my engine bay and fitted this. Car pulls a lot better and feels a bit nippier!

Quick snap whilst the sun was shining!

So spend this morning polishing the polo and took a new pics. Also had an email from performance VW saying they are going to put my polo in the built not bought section :)

Love what you've done with the car mate, I've got one looks nearly identical. Nice idea for the headliner, how hard was it? and is it worth getting the air filters?

Headliner was really easy mate and yeah definitely worth changing the air filter

UPDATE - Just picked up my wheels that have been shot blasted and sprayed and I'm over the moon with the result!
