Carbon trim & black leather

Got it now :) apart from a stone through the rad on the way home it's all good.

Swirl flap delete done

Revised OEM oil seperator done

Oil + filter done

Air filter done

Fuel filter to do

Then it needs a good detail and the wheels refurbing and should be pretty mint. Drives nice, got enough go for what I want at the minute, being a totally different car to the polo it's quite nice to have that variation.

Thanks for advice though people !

nice. Enjoy!

Washed it quickly and Clayed most of it.

Not done any correction yet apart from the boot lid, should be nice with the wheels done etc.

That is a very smart looking motor.

That is a very smart looking motor.

Are you being sarcastic? Didn't realise you did being positive towards modern stuff lol

When are you going in hospital for the required operation?

Which operation mate? :)

I also noticed it seems to have functioning indicators, wasn't aware this occurred on BMWs

No really, i do like the look of it. Though i recon it'd look better with some bullet steels.. and some sidewall with that.

Over double the weight of a MK2 Golf with a 2.0 diesel in it? Never driven one, only been a regular passenger in a 4dr version, but it doesn't appeal (and if it's better on fuel than your Polo then your Polo must be broken). But yes Nick i think it does look really good - and no doubt is by far the prefered choice for passengers!

Aye just looked, label says a massive 1935kg!! Polo was 775 the other day with a full tank of fuel.

It's told me average 50mpg which isn't bad as iv obviously been getting to know the engine etc.

Serviced it even though isn't due: loads smoother! Stupid 20k intervals

Aye just looked, label says a massive 1935kg!!

Not sure if serious? For GVW that sounds about right, but not kerb.

Nice motor BTW. RWD means you can now claim driving heroics when you 'got the back end out'. Somehow sounds more manly than boasting about comedy understeer!

Not sure, was 1935 & 3500 I think. Didn't look in detail was just a glance.

Feels pretty nice, the msport suspension is a bit firm with the 18's but isn't uncomfortable or anything

That'd make it heavier than an XF... ;)

  • Author

I'll weigh it and see lol.

A quick Google earlier suggested it was 1695kgs at the kerb, seems that's a lie according to Carfolio, who give the following info - but this isn't gonna be UK spec so the weight is likely to be minimum, no indication of fluid levels..
