Citroën Saxo VTR

I'm starting a new job next week and I need something to get me back and forth to London. I think I've found the car I want so it's time my little go kart went up for sale.

I originally bought the car as a stopgap because I needed something quickly and this was the only thing I could find that was clean and tidy enough for me. I liked it so much I ended up keeping it for 2 and a bit years.

The car was owned by a young woman for most of its life, and she didn't let it want for anything. As a result I have a folder full of receipts and old MOTs. It was then bought by a Vauxhall mechanic for his Girlfriend, who drove it for a while before he changed jobs and got a company car, meaning she could have his Astra and had no need for the Saxo. That's when I bought it.

The car also has a couple of select modifications, but nothing particularly invasive. The previous owner fitted a stainless exhaust - scorpion I believe - which makes the note slightly deeper. This has never bothered me though and I'm not one for yobbishly loud cars. When I bought the car it had a horrible halfords gear knob, so I replaced that with an aluminium JDM style knob which is much nicer. It has an alpine H/U, JBL components powered by a fli amp, and a Kenwood sub. I have also de-wipered the rear however I still have the motor and wiper and it's easy to re-fit.

Bad points:

Every car has them, and although this car has fared very well for its age it's not escaped completely unscathed. There are car park dinks around the car, and a few scratches here and there. Having said that it still polishes up very well. There is some lacquer peel on the front bumper. This was there when I bought the car and hasn't got any worse since. The sunroof can be a bit temperamental, and while 9 times out of 10 it doesn't leak, sometimes if it's been opened it won't re-seal properly. This is only noticeable when it rains extremely heavily and is easily remedied so hasn't ever really bothered me.
