The police/vosa go by the maximum authorized mass/gross weight/mtplm of the trailer which is stamped on the chassis or a plate and not the actual weight.

You will be royally fucked if you get caught, even if the trailer is empty, not even my 407 is legal to tow a car transporter so a 9n has no chance, you need a large van or discovery size 4x4 with the required towing capacity to tow a transporter legally.

Any trailer with a maximum authorized mass over 750kg must be braked otherwise you face a 3 points and a fine for driving a vehicle with defective brakes

you're better off getting someone with a suitable vehicle to tow the trailer.
