Idles like shit though for some reason. Was idling so smooth till i took the carbs off yesterday. Didnt even do anything to um!!

the xclusive valver is still going strong lol dont worry. all my dodgy noises are from my alternator haha

future long term plans:

1. carpeted false floor with a couple hidden places for storage
2. half rollcage
3. 14 inch wheels with sensible offset for running wide tyres
4. fit my rear polybushes
5. couple spots of welding
6. fix fuel tank issue
7. exterior respray
8. mappable ignition (aldon system or preferably megajolt)
9. new bonnet
10. straight through centre exhaust section
11. refurbed gt rear beam
12. g40 front brakes
13. flock spare mk2 dash
14. rear strut brace
15. recover my recaros or fit some proper buckets
16. cams for the engine
17. rebuild my spare head and have it flowed
18. new clutch

yeah I'm sorta dreaming, but i know i can do most of it if I'm patient and keep track of money. itl get done, eventually :)

i have. the front is now only lowered 80mm and the back is about 70. back sits a tad lower though annoyingly.

80 is the lowest you can get. plus £100 is alot when an angle grinder is £15.

although I'm enjoying the height at the mo. can even get over speedbumps.

not much to update, apart from winning the EMP Performance raffle at players.

this meant that i got a custom exhaust made for free, to my specification!

opted for a straight through 2 inch, to a shallow rear box so that it could be tucked up as out of view as possible.

also got a new rear hanger that bolts through the floor and is solid,

and a 2.5'' outward rolled upswept tip with mandrel bends tig welded together.. looks cracking!

also got my manifold shortened whilst i was there

oh, and i swapped my camcover for a different one too.

providing all goes to plan, (fingers crossed)

my current short term plans -

• golf front coilovers and fit my rear 6n coilovers
• have subframe modified for more clearance so i can lower the car more
• new wheels with better offsets to run wider tyres, got my eye on a set currently
• fit my rear beam polybushes

longer term plans -

• rollcage
• kamei X1 sideskirts
• G40 VWII brakes
• potentially new seats
• drop the fuel tank out, and have the sill welded up as its now self destructed!
• respray
