wiring 6n2 AVY into mk1-3 polo

Hi i am in the process in wiring my avy 1.6gti into my mk1 at the mo, i have come across a problem which i hope someone can help with.

I have the engine in and all the engine related plugs, throttle plug, igniton plug all plugged in, all the earths earthed, immobilser ring and key all off the same vehicle, For this i have the engine loom and interior loom, of which most plugs become not used. I have just plugged in everything i deem necessary to make it run, i have got in turning over and the fuel priming, but no spark! anyone got any ideas if i have missed something out, or i need to bridge any of the dis used plugs?
