Hi guys,

I've bought a sub, max 1000w RMS 400w and I have a new headunit coming in the post with three RCA outs. I'm thinking of getting four new speakers with a max power of 230w and a nominal input power of 40w.

I have tried reading about this but none of it is making sense to me... I gather though that if i want decent sound I should get 2 amps?

Question is could you guys tell me the wattage and amount of channels I need per amp, or, if it will still sound alright how to wire it from one amp, and the features that amp would need,
