Fully frustrated with a staff editor on this site as i put my mums car up for sale with a price in the subject and in the gum tree link. my post was removed with no warning at all I sent a pm to the editor that removed it requesting an explanation I got a very sh*ty response advising I missed the price and my ad was poor.

There was some basic info on her car but still enough to spark interest n follow the link for full details.

I was advertising on behalf of my mum. ( not the valued enthusiast members club I thought it was)

I'm most likely wasting my time, but I'll explain this one step at a time, and maybe you can tell me where you think we're going wrong as a club:

- As a club, we are here for our members, they are our priority. They are the people who make the club possible, through their continued support of the club, therefore, they are the people who's input we listen to.

- We extend the ability to advertise cars for sale on the club's forum free of charge, to anyone who wants to join the forum and advertise. We don't mind if they take out a paid subscription, we don't even mind if the car isn't a Polo. You must admit, that's pretty generous. Have a look around the Internet at all the forums that would not allow you to do this.

- We have a number of simple rules for items for sale on the club's site. One of them is, all adverts require a price. We don't think this is unreasonable, or a particularly hard thing to ask of people, in fact, it will help them sell their car easier.

- We display the rules clearly at the top of each forum. We even provide a template in the same place which people can use so they don't forget anything.

- Are not, and as far as I am aware, speaking as one of the membership secretaries, never have been a Club Member, you are a forum user, someone who uses the site without contributing.

- Follow us on Facebook, that's not really a huge effort is it?

- Have only ever posted to buy and sell items.

- Have already been warned for not putting a price on adverts in the past.

- Have already been warned for threatening violence against a club member.

- Again ignored the requirement to place a price on an advert on our forum.

- Instead of simply accepting you made an error and reposting the advert, again, for free, with absolutely no obligation to do anything at all for the club, took it as an excuse to try and have an arguement.

Why are you of the opinion that -

- You are benefiting the club in anyway?

- We should change our rules because you do not like them?

- We should be interested in your opinion?

- That saying you're going to bring a gang and confront me at a show is a good idea?

- That we see any benefit to someone with your attitude "representing" us?

- Any of this matters any more than just putting a price on the advert?

Somewhere slightly below my pissed off level for today. Someone broke into my van, and then this guy shows up and starts pm'ing me all this crap:

I follow club polo on Facebook I represent club polo with a sticker in my car I buy things on here all the time I got my golf off her as well. the price was in the subject of my post also on the link my mum is selling her car to save her home and I put mine up as well to help her out I find it very frustrating when I represent u as a club and I'm really trying to do something selfless and u remove my post with not so much as a warning a lot of my friends use this site and was horrified when I told them they way you deleted my post an they all know my family's situation .

If I don't get a dignified response me and friends will stop using your site and spread the word of how u treat long standing club members at every meet that we go to or stands that we show are cars at thank you for your time

Was his last response a threat if so I'm sure us as club polo will stand up to a his friends lets find out where the next show is and setup stand right next to him. There should be a warning for key board warriors lol
