Got my new wheels :)

So now i can finally work out what modifications i need to do to the arches!

Front stick out 20mm i expected this!

and rears sit perfect but will be adding 10mm drop plates to correct the axle angle and recentre the wheel. also there is no springs attached in this picture the axle is hitting the underside of the car so the drop plates will give me some much needed suspension travel also!

I am going to redo the rear arches they just don't look aggressive enough for me and the front will be redone to!

I removed the rear arches to start again!

Got my self some Skinpins Sheet metal fasteners make the job so much easier.

Starting shaping the Mk1 golf arches to fit the derby shape the Skinpins help alot!

And a picture to show the wheel sitting to fare forward this will be sorted with drop plates have already made some 3.5inch mock ones and fitted them and the wheel actually sits a little to far back now so 2.5inch drop plates will work perfect and will give me the perfect damper stroke on the back for a better ride!
