Jbird's Silver 6n2.

Hi all, been meaning to start one of these for a while now, bought the car around a month ago and just waiting to pass my test still at 20.

This is now the 4th car I've owned and I've never even drove them! But this one shall be my car for when I do pass soon. my first car was a white 6n shed which was scraped, I then wanted a 6n2 but things didn't go to plan.

So after what seems like a lifetime I am now a polo owner again, purchased the car off eBay from a woman in Nottingham. didn't pay a great deal for it due to it having no tax or mot and having 122,000 thousand miles. I went with the intension of it not being very clean scratches and stuff and just in general bad condition, however to my amazement I was wrong and the car wasn't in bad condition bar a few "modifications" such as orange badges and wing mirrors a bad sun strip and tinted windows, rear lights and badly painted wheels. These however will go back to standard so I can build it up from a standard structure.

Since owning the car I've sprayed the front badge and mirrors gloss black, gave the car a quick clean, removed the sun strip and here's what it looks like now.

Plans from here are:

- Pass my driving test.

- Chrome VW badges.

- Coilovers (should have them tomorrow thanks too olliehill).

- New Wheels (will be taking the ones on back to silver with pressure washer)

- Gti spoiler.

- Somebody work as there's a few scratches here and there.

- Sort out the gash rear lights.

- Interior clean up maybe something different.

I've also ordered some LED sidelights to replace the "BAD-BOI" blue ones as well as LED number plate and interior lights which will be fitted once they arrive.
