Hi everyone joined a few weeks ago thought id pop in and say hi :-)

bought my first VW a month ago, p reg polo 1.4 8v slowly but surely doing her up, had a few probs within first week, coil pack then manifold, has coil over but sitting lower at one side, also it was highly polished and as its started to wear off you can see it needs full respray...all good fun!

attached a pic of what it was like when i bought it will update as i go

Hey, I'm in the same boat as you, bought a polo as my first VW and its been nothing but trouble ever since haha!

thanks guys :-) its been a bit of a pig to be honest haha did spark plugs, ht leads. dis cap the lot when i did coilpack, then was exhaust and brakes and then manifold could have cried! lol

onwards and upwards tho! :-D

With the paint just buy some auto glym SRP and polish it till the colour comes back and then put some wax on it. Should last a while and easy to do.

u cant see from the pics but not only is it faded but has run marks/streaks in it, i wash and polish every week trying to see if it makes a difference and so far hasnt but ill get try that instead :o)

What happens when people don't look after their cars, least you know with anything you replace now that it's going to work and you'll give it the love it deserves!
