Owned since October 2012, bought off my housemate as I always had my eye on one. He spared no expense on maintaining it, has replaced the engine, gearbox and interior, as well lots of other little bits and pieces. He also custom built the exhaust on it - it's rather loud, but sounds pretty awesome in my opinion :-)

It has literally been the most reliable car I've ever owned, nippy and agile to boot. Hasn't been caned all it's life or drifted like an idiot, and the condition of the bodywork reflects this. Underneath is solid, had two small patches of welding for it's MOT, and has been waxoiled and stonechipped whilst I was under there. Will come on the gold 15" Cades Eros pictured, not the Asevs as I'm keeping them as winters for my mk2 Golf for when thats on the road.

Bad points: mostly little things, that do not affect the general running of the car. The hood is a bit tatty, but it is completely watertight. The paintwork is not showroom condition, theres laquer peel, and the arches have been blown in in a different shade of black, but thats hardly noticable. Still polishes up a treat and looks really smart :-)

The ride comfort can only be described as 'bumpy'. The shocks aren't great, but I have a full set of Bilstein shocks and springs that can come with the car. I also have two ARB drop links for the rear that will go (replaced the fronts for the MOT).

If after a swap for this - I MISS MY DUBS! I haven't got money for a 'cash your way' deal, but will take P/X and cash. I'm looking for a small engined dub - dream swap would be a Polo GT or Lupo/Arosa Sport/mk2 polo coupe S. However any dub/VAG in the lower tax bracket will be considered. Must have good amount of MOT, and must be reliable as I am pretty dependant on a car.

As per forum rules, I will stand the cars value at £1200 with the Bilsteins, or £1000 without. This is to be used as a gauge for a swap, as I can't be without a car, so swaps and PX's only. Car is located in Swansea, South Wales. Any more information needed (no doubt I've missed something!) drop me a PM.

Fresh from a wash and polish this afternoon :-)

Are you interested in a 1.0 polo 6n2 in blue ? smoothed bumpers and trims all round, respray in the last year, very clean inside and out, lowered on coilovers and sitting on gold tsw alloys with stretched tyres. car has done 87,000 miles will rise as its my daily. will have full 12 months mot and have just put 6 months tax on it. cheers

none at all! its my 4th dub just fancied something different tbh! i found that my insurance was cheap for an mx5.

by the rear of the sills there is small bubbles of rust but not big and only surface. wheels are curbed. has front gti brakes and a cherry bomb back pipe. will come with twin sub and headunit. immaculate little car and will throw in a vag com too.

I have a mk2 breadvan...

It's the "rare" ranger model. 1.3 5 speed and all the good stuff plus some nice ranger features. just had a new headgasket, fuel pump, petrol tank (tank was second hand but is solid) and it will have a weber carb by the end of the week. coilovers on the rear and the parts to make front one but haven't got round to it yet as it's my daily. just sailed through its mot and has about 5 months tax.

If you are interested then i will check if the insurance is possible on that mx5 and get you more details/pictures so let me know...

I may already have a swap lined up, pending the swap cars' MOT on thursday and the insurance quote I get on it tomorrow - I'll notify either way on here though!
