Polo 6n 1.6glx....

Featured Replies

Selling this on behalf of my sister.

VW Polo 6n 1.6glx 5 door in dragon green, '96 N plate.

She had my 6n2 off me in 2011, her intention was to sell this on but never got round to doing it so has been sat since then.

Car has no MOT or tax so will need to be trailered.

Good..

Its the glx, so has the 16v bumpers with fog lights, 16v interior etc. Body wise its not too bad for a 6n. There is a bit of rust in and around the rear wheels arches and end of sills but thats it. Worst part is where someone hit the passenger side rear door in a car park so its been pushed in and has some scrapes on the wheel arch. Door still opens and closes fine.

The bad..

Its been sat for about 1.5 years. Used to get started regularly but hasn't been this year. She has owned it since 2008 and it hasnt been serviced. So would need a a really good service.. probably the cambelt too.. It idled high on start up sat at 2- 2.5rpm when started.

For its last mot it had both the front lower suspension arms done but not the tracking so the front tyres worn through in the inner edges..would need replacing.

Does roll as its been sat with the handbrake off.

I gave it a good clean inside and out and underneath.. removed archliners etc in may 2012.. this is when the photos are from...

I had remover the number plates and wheel centres when cleaning. Come with the car

Please bear in mind these photos were taken last year when properly cleaned. Its a bit more dirty inside and out now.

After £150 for the car.. not going to break it as I cant be bothered..

Remember it has no tax or mot so will need trailering..

Cars in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. My no is 07817209986..

Thanks for looking

Ben
