Hello. This is my 2nd VW Polo, however i never got to see my 1st polo's life really shine as it died earlier this year. My first polo was a 1992' Mk2f fox coupe. My current polo is a 1992 bready.

Here is a picture of my first polo: post-147015-1377039278_thumb.jpg

Few months later I had been involved in a terrible accident which I had to strip down and it looked like this: post-147015-1377039363.jpg

I had fixed the car back to a good standard the first photo (couldn't find another one) however it failed on its mot which I had the following as the chassis had twisted. A few weeks down the line me and my dad were out on the look again for another polo my dad is it really a huge polo fan as he is into his campers (owns a vw t25). We had found one pretty good looking, alright paint job, lowered, alloys the full set, this was of course the breadvan which set me back 380 quid and a hefty drive to London and back. Vehicle specs:

Engine size: 1093cc

Transmission: 4speed

Wheels/alloys: 15inch (guessing)

Springs: unsure

After buying this car I was quick to the job and had a good knowledge of the inside of the car. I was quick to replace the seats with MG ZT sports seats half leather, dye the interior roof black and insert some fancy LED lights into the roof. Replaced the sound system with two 6x9 In the parcel shelf and a 750watt edge sub.

All was going well until I realised the guy I bought it off hadn't rolled the arches back giving the bready and uncomftable ride, upon doing this my dad said it would be better to angle grind the inner arch giving the walls of the tyre there freedom, and this worked! I still have a lot to do on this up rising project, I'm an 18 year lad currently studying mechanical engineering so most of the time the jobs are quite easy to do.

However I'm here for the help of you guys, I need to get this engine spinning with a little more power and a little more shine, and to be honest when it comes to the engine side of this I'm a rookie any suggestions would help!

Thanks Court! Sorry for the lack of images
