1999 6n 16V 3 door black

Featured Replies

Make: VW

Model: polo 16V

Year/Reg: 1999

Mileage: 110,551

MOT: Due 26th June 2014

Tax: 5 months

Good points:

100HP 16 valve engine!

All the normal 16V goodies ie. air con (which is cold) sun roof, eletric mirrors, eletric windows and central locking, nicer seats

The body work is in good condition for its age, a few car park dings but apart from that its pretty clean, no big dents or scratches

The interior is also in good condition, no rips or fag burns

The car has a full service history and has been well looked after by previous owners. Had engine rebuild at 86,771 miles back in 2007 due to snapped cam belt. Parts replaced included: belts, water pump, new pistons, con rods, all bearings, spark plugs, 16 new valves, reface cyclinder head, rebore of the block, injectors, head gasket And a few other bits and bobs. There is an invoice for the work carried out by a local garage to the tune of £2300!

New clutch also fitted at 86,771 miles

Loads and loads of paper work and invoices

Just had the tracking and alignment done

All in all I'd say it was a genuine car and would be a great base for mods due to its engine, I'm only selling due to upgrading to a TDI golf otherwise it would be staying!

Bad points:

Like I said before a few car park dings, just being honest, I'd say there 1-2 in each panel, not really that noticeable to be honest

Service light is on but it's only just been serviced a few 100 miles ago by myself.

Front suspension on drivers side has a very slight knock to it every now and again, doesn't bother me but again I'd rather just say.

It's dirty at the moment but will be getting a wash next week!

Price:

£950 Ono

The car won't be for sale til the end of next week, I thought I'd put an ad up to see if there was any interest.

Feel free to pm me for any more details
