The car is a 1994 tdi with the bombproof 1z engine

The car just hit 172000 miles the other day and has a full service history from new.

I have most if not all MOTs and plenty of paperwork

It had a cambelt recently and was serviced approx 2000 miles ( 1 month ago)

MOT until the 28th August 2014

Tax until the end of Sept 2013

The car sailed through with two advisories. It needed a drop link which was replaced the following day and it also the front number plate was only cable tied on.

I have owned the car since the beginning of the year and have put around 12000 miles on it commuting to work as well as as a few 300 mile trips to Cornwall. I have not had a single problem with it!

Everything works as it should apart from the remote fob.

It starts first time every time and I haven't seen the glow plug light come on since it was minus 5 outside!

This is a car you can just get in a drive knowing full well it will get you to your destination and I have no doubt it would do another 100000 miles before it gives up.

The body work is in excellent condition for a car of this age and mileage and it does scrub up well after a good wash but it could do with a polish to get the most of the grey/purple paint. There are a few car park dents and other marks but nothing major.

There is only one thing that lets the car down which is the fact that it is a cat c due to the older chap I bought the car off bumping it in a car park and using his insurance to repair it! The car had a dented wing which was about it. This was in march 2012.

The wing has been replaced and the car was vic tested. It’s amazing what a car can be written off for these days!

Apart from that the car is pretty much perfect.

It drives nice, it’s nice to look at and it goes well for a big heavy diesel and returns 50mpg with ease.

Price is £1100 or open to swaps for something slightly smaller for my other half.
