I've stripped the front end, the chassis is bent, clean ripped the Inner CV joint in half, wheels are mangled, she's a goner :(

Ouch, not good

Although a lot of the car looks to be salvageable if you were to buy another one and start again.

No Injuries, I think the fact the wheel and suspension took most of the impact quite softened the blow, no airbags or anything :), I am stripping the car, but don't think I'll get another for now!

as far as damage goes, driveshaft ripped from inner CV joint, Driveshaft bent, lower arm crumpled ripped clean from subframe mount, subframe mount ripped and bolt bent at 90 deg., Track rod bent 90 deg., bulk head slightly crumpled affecting alignment of driver door, wheel bent and buckled like an egg, surprisingly didnt crack!

Awh man, that's a right pain in the backside!

went over a kerb and just glanced something, thats what grabbed the wheel and whacked it back, luckily I swerved to miss it or else it would have been a full frontal impact, which could have been a bit more painful!

Damn, what's the plan then? At least you should be able to recoup some of your losses from some of the goodies you've added along the way?

Such a shame though, this always seemed like a nice tidy example.

Thanks buddy, the plan is strip it and scrap the shell, theres nothing mega on it, so won't get back too much, if I recoup what I bought the car for I'll be happy. I'm looking at 1k to get something else with, I have said I want something a bit bigger, but I really do love the 6n because I know it so well, if a valver came up I could be very tempted. Another possibility is with the moeny I do get back on parts, to buy another 6n for the misses.

I'm not set on anything right now other than sorting out my silly mess haha!

So she's been gutted for anything of value, most of which is in the [breaking] section, and today she went to Polo Heaven, leaving behind a staggering £26!

She was a brilliant car, had many adventures and moments in her and she will definately be remembered and I kept her key :)

on the flip side, A guy local to me had a black valver he's thinking of selling, and I'm thinking of buying... well I tell a lie, in my mind I've bought it, but the missus needs a bit more persuading, so hopefully theres another story and a great end to this old gal :)

Yeah, without her I would've never met some of the people I have and developed such a passion for cars!
