Mk1 Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Ellooo,

I've been pretty inactive on the forum front recently, mainly due to work etc but as some of you may or may not know, i own a maratime blue mk3 polo coupe.

I got myself a job around 2 years ago which meant a 70-75 mile commute daily, i used the mk3 for around a year but decided it wasnt fair, i doubled the milage i bought it at in less than 2 years.

I then bought a 9n sport 1.4tdi. I thought this was a nice car, especially inside but it did lack power and any sort of real excitement whilst driving.

On my way home from work a few weeks back i was entering an arch train bridge on the infamous "Fosse way" as i was about to come out of the other side, i lorry decided to try and enter the bridge and unfortunatly for me, he was to tall. a big 15ftish steel bar fell from the lorry and hit my car head on.

The car was a cat c write off and with my payout on insurance and a bit of borrowing i managed to get a mk1 fabia vrs.

After 2 days of owning the fabia i was travveling to work at 5:30 and at around 6:00am there was a small pop and the engine cut out.

Took back to the garage i bought from and they diagnosed it with a collasped turbo. they are fixing it though so its not too much of an issue.

I still have the coupe and i do plan on finishing it when i have the money and time but i can see myself spending a little on the fabia to get it nice :)

Il upload some pictures later on from the accident and some of the new whip.

Cheers :)
