cheap CHEAP work hack

Featured Replies

Here's a suzuki swift GLS 1.3 petrol i'm selling for my brother who is now living in London and has left this car here, it's not been used for nearly three months and does have a few bad points which are;

various rust spots

a dent in the door/rear quarter from where he reversed into a bollard

the drivers window doesn't operate (i think the motor just needs replacing)

bonnet release is a bit dodgy

the worst point is that it has an intermittent starting problem (which could be the dizzy cap, but haven't had time to look,but if it's used regularly this shouldn't be a problem as i'm sure the main cause of this is it's little use) but once it's running it's spot on.

Tax runs out 30/09/2013 so will need taxing or trailering away. MOT runs out in March 2014

good points are;

very economical

cheap to tax

runs sweet and pulls strong

power steering and gearbox are both great

very reliable and low mileage

cheap running costs and insurance

to summarise this car is not a looker and is cosmetically a little worse off but it's a mechanically sound (apart from the dodgy start, but should be an easy fix with someone with time/patience) it'll make an ideal first car or something to learn in or even more ideal for someone to use as a daily hack to drive to work and back in as it's a comfy little car with plenty of life left in it for not a lot of cash. Any questions, drop me a line and i'll try my best to answer them.
