Hi guys.

I will have lots of questions but for now, I have just bought my lad a Polo Match 1.4 (6N2) as he did well in his exams and will be learning to drive soon.

We live in Bromsgrove, and he is eager to learn about cars and to drive himself to college. Unfortunately he doesn't have a provisional license yet but it will be soon.

Nice car, odd colour and with bits to fix so he can cut his teeth.

Will post up pics but that was needed;

  • Temp guage not working - ECP bits and sorted
  • Passenger door lock paddles gone. Ebay bits and repaired
  • Central locking not working (but pump running on) found fuel flap solenoid leaking. Parts to get.

Question : Are there like minded soles near me :D ?

BTW, I have my own cars and we are an ALL german car family ;)

usually you can find the paint code in the boot next to the spare tire on a sticker , well thats where i found mine

Nice to see another bromsgrovian joining the polo crew :-) Give me a shout if you are stuck for bits as I work at euro so might be able to help.

Daz

I used to live in bromsgrove .....does that count!!

I think it's cosmic green which was for match model only.

Jon/Darren, nice to meet you guys at ECP today.

Jon, you are a proper petrolhead :D and Darren, thanks for a good price on the kit I bought today.

Jon, I popped to RSR and it looks closed. Post building up in the door :-( Not sure what's going on there :unknw:

Cheers Chris

Not sure if I'm too old for meets but once my lad passes his test, I may accompany him.

Done a few in my time but since I own two old man's cars, I could be classed as not youthful enough.
