Hi, I've seen this sunstrip on ebay and i was just wondering what are the rules for them and if i would be allowed it on my car?

there no law afaik to have a sunstrip most cars in the 70s n 80s had them

Insurance might see it as a modification only thing really

I had one on my old mk2 lol

Thanks for the help I might order one but I have heard that if the wiper touches the sun strip you fail your MOT?

Sun Visors

Sunvisors fitted to the driver's side, which cannot be stowed in the 'off screen' position and which drop down obstructing the view through the swept area of the windscreen are a reason for rejection. A similar defect on the passenger side sunvisor is not a reason for rejection
