My polo when I first got it..

Looking a bit sorry for its self!

So first off she was in need for some new shoes!!

After a few days of searching for wheels I found some that

Could look different and sick at the same time!

And then a few days after that.. Look what the post man delivered

So now I had to get them sitting right!

Harder than it looks haha

Can't wait to put tyres on now

So the polo does need a few bits tidying and spraying

I got down to the local paint seller

And decided that the colour coded front grills need

To be gloss black! It came to Saturday and I got on and done a few bits and bobs

Primed the front grills

Then the gloss black

After I finished for the day and got tyres I thought

It only deserves a picture of the progress!

And it's coming along fast and clean!

Very happy with the wheels and how it sits now!

Managed to get hold of a 6N2 dash so this Saturday was a ball ache fitting that

First off I took the 6N dash out!

Now you can see what I mean! Whilst I took the dash out I cleaned the carpet

Witch was looking good.. Seeing as it had oil spilt in it

Now time to tidy up the wires and and get the 6N2 dash bolted in witch

Was actually really easy

It's getting there more pics to follow soon!!

Plans for the little brown polo are looking pretty good :)

Now to put the original 6N clocks in to the 6N2 dash! Pretty easy to be fair

And by Sunday at 12 the dash was lookin awesome! Got my double din CD

player in too!

Excuse the window switches haha didn't have to to wire them in to the doors lol!

Are 6n2 dashes just a simple swap then, cars coming along nicely btw

Tbh mate yeah I thought it was easy as! But then others on here say it's not

Worth doing cause it's a mega ball ache lol

It took me and my dad 4 hours to do it all plus door cards

Looking good mate, do you have a closer picture of how the 6n clocks fit the 6n2 dash?

Do the heaters etc all match up OK behind?

The brown little polo is gonna get some good attention between now and show season 2014 :) so keep your eye out :) should bring some cool ideas :)

I had a donor 6N2 so used the heater pipes outa that.. Fitted straight in mate easy

Done a few little bits to the polo today including colour coded the vw

Badge on the front and gloss blacked the grill

Then went and took a few pictures of the little beaut.. Pretty happy about how

It's looking at the moment..

Started making a the boot a little tidier two as got two subs off a mate cheap

And the boot is a right mess!!

Looks horrible and a mess, so I just took every thing out the boot hovered

The carpet and was looking ok.. But I thought I'd make it look a little cooler

So I went on ebay brought some black carpet for a 10er then poped down to B&Q got

Some wood and started to make a boot built sort of thing..

Didn't take many other pics as I was building it but I put it in the car and tbh for a two or three

Hour job it look pretty cool!

Good looking 6n different nice colour.

6N2 rear lights and a bit of camber..

Need some pressed plates tho!

I thought I might make the engine bay something special that stands out from

Other 6N's so I brought another rocker cover of ebay and got to send

Straight to a guy that does airbrushing! He's awesome this is the first pic I got

Sent to me..

Modified mania tomorrow so I am getting the car ready :)

And as I have just had the doors, wings, bonnet and front bumper

Re-sprayed it was time to get the scene tape out haha!

No stone chips now :p

I still want to keep the vw badge on the boot but delete the handle

And shortened the plate recess :)

So I got a boot lid of my mate for a 10er LOL so gonna send it to the body

Shop to get done soon!

Got the rocker cover back and have put it on including a home made cold air feed

To the grill :)

Waiting till the weekend to put it on a had a few other bits to do as well :)

For the headed tank as it's faded and looks terrible! I'm gonna order a vw up

Header tank from work as they are tiny and will look quite cool

Then just need to hide a few wire and it will be look pretty sweet :) until it comes

To winter and I've got enough time to smooth and paint the bay properly!

A little update nothing special just a few pics

Little update got the first part of my turbo manifold made..

Won't be long until I have boost

So as it's getting in to winter a few nights a week

I'm gonna start flatting and polishing the car to give

It that ultra shine (hopefully)

This was the reflection before not very clear..

I want it mirror!

So I got some 2000 grit wet and dry and started to flat

The bonnet back! It's very painful haha

Looks wrong Haa! But then when you start to mop the car

You can start to see the reflection looks a lot better

So now I just had to Finnish it lol witch all together

It took around 2 and a half hours lol just to do the

Bonnet but this is how the reflection is now!

Not gonna lie it's amazing!!

Would love to do a wetsand to get rid of some of my orange people but to scared ha

that reflection!!.

May have to try some 2000 wet and dry,

Honestly guys it's soo easy! As long as your good with a

Mop it's easy! And really worth it.. Can't wait to Finnish
