Nice looking polo mate, some top work and effort gone into it and you seem to have a knack for just getting on with things.

As for gearboxes, I had the 1.6 8v fitted to my valver and that seemed to run better than the standard 16v one. Check out the 6n rally car build thread on here regarding lightened flywheels etc =D

No you can get mk2 coupes and bread vans then mk3 coupes and bread vans.

Got a few bits done this weekend and it's slowly taking shape

Got plates in and a layer of fibre glass on the drivers side..

Started fillering

Then i put the mount on and cut the fibre glass out so

The mount sits back on the metal and not fibre glass

Got the engine prept and painted..

Started to get there now!!

Not really any updates so I thought I'd just chuck a

Haven't really done a lot as it's over Christmas but

the drivers side is almost done get need to get the little imperfections

Right, I wanna do something a little different to the

Polo I wanna put the 6n2 rear end on the old girl..

I know I'll need the hybrid rear bumper on it (as the

6n2 one is different) but does the boot fit straight

On?..

Boot will fit on but will not sit flush with the metal panels under the rear lights IIRC. Think you have to pull them out a little and smooth. No point drilling the holes to sink the all red rears in flush if your pulling the metal panels remember.

My 6n2 rear. on my 6n boot lid needs adjusted and the plates under rear lights needs extended I have the hybrid bumper no pictures of it all together
