Hi guys, for sale I have my girlfriends Polo 6n2 GTI. I will get on to the description in a second and I am going to be very honest, but the only photos I have available are the ones from when we bought it (private plate no longer on) but the car is in exact same condition apart from a few additions (one the gf isnt very proud about)

Right so down to it:

- 1.6 engine in very good condition and running strong

- gearbox is fine although gear change is a little stiff, this was checked out by JKM and they have told me the gear linkages need adjusting but they DO THINK it may need new linkages (I'm been totally honest here)

- interior is in great condition and I will make sure this is all cleaned out before sale

- wheels are the a decent condition they could do with a refurb though as the lips arent in perfect condition

- stubby mirrors

- GTi Xenons

- its a really strong runner does have high miles (around but was used for her commute from Portsmouth to Winchester for work everyday for the last 6 months

- sitting on lowering springs (not sure on brand)

- decent headunit with ipod connection and cd player, also theres cables left in the car for amp & sub (they were removed by previous owner and I just left them in with the view of buying amp and sub)

- 6 months MOT

Reason for sale is she has bought herself a Beetle (wanted a proper lasses car I think)

bad points

- rust along on the tailgate underneath windscreen

- headlight washer is broken and is leaking

- gear change stiff as mentioned

- scrape down the rear quarter as she decided she could squeeze out of a carpark between a pillar and a car recently. I honestly believe most of the damage is just paint from the pillar rubbing onto the car, I WILL try my best to clean this up hitting it a few times with the DA but I am currently away offshore at the moment so cant be done right now.

- front rub strip needs repainting

- exhaust is blowing (its a universal bolt on) but I have a standard back box sitting in the flat just not fitted

- has no tax on it

changes I have done since purchase

- dewipered the rear (wiper can be refitted if needed)

- fixed the gaitor as it was all bust up, I do have a new gearstick and gaitor that will come with the car though

- 20mm spacers on the rear wheels

- I have the red piping to go round the front grill again not fitted

- fitted new front repeater on the drivers side as the clips had broken on the old one

- legal pressed plates

- fitted a green panel filter

- new polo aerial

- aero wipers

- led license plate lights

- two new tyres on the front

I will try my hardest to get photos of the scrape from the girlfriend as it is now but like I said this will be hit with a machine polish to see how it comes out. Photos I have at my disposal now (car is in the exact same condition bar additions I have made)

really needing to get rid of this now, we dont have space at the flat and I really dont have time for splitting with work etc. Unless anyone comes and makes me an offer for it, its going to just get dumped.

sorry lads very rarely visit this forum, the car is still here if anyone wants to make me a reasonable offer feel free. Car is exactly as described and has even had a quick machine polish and came up quite nice. Managed to completely remove the scuff on the rear quarter as it was just a bit of paint rubbed from a bollard. Easy fix, have before and after photos if anyone wants to see them
