Breaking ARC 6N2 POLO GTI Engine 1.6 16v

Breaking ARC 6N2 POLO GTI Engine.

Recently pulled this out of my polo.

And Replaced with another ARC engine which didnt burn so much oil.


I never got to the bottom of the problem as I haven't had the head off and checked it. It would of been as economical to stick a new motor in so thats what I did.

Inlet Manifold £15.00
Exhaust Manifold £15.00
Rocker Cover £20.00
Head £10.00 (will probably need skimmed)
Cam Shafts £10 each
Block with internals £30.00 (could be a bad piston ring)
Timing pulleys £5.00
Misc nuts and bolts £2.00
I have got a sump but someones put a nail through it. tiny hole. if you can fix it and want it then £5.00
Coolant Pipes £10.00
