Hi guys,

I'm Dave, I'm 17 and I'm from Corby, Northants. Thought I'd sign up seeing as I've been trawling through looking at people's posts who are modifying their Mk6 Polo's, as I'm looking for some advice/tips/direction with mine. She's standard as of now, but hopefully when I get some money together through work and over Christmas, I shall be doing some light mods that hopefully won't skyrocket my insurance.

I drive a 2004 VW Polo Twist 1.2 5dr Black, or 'Pandora' as my Mum called her before she gave it to me, and the name has stuck.

She's a lovely car, 3 owners from new I believe and about 20 miles from 65k on the clock as of this post.
As far as modifying her is concerned, I'm wanting to modify her in a way that will turn heads, but not raise my insurance by too much.
My little list of possible mods are:
- German Pressed Plates
- De-badged Grille
- Remove Rear 'Polo' and '1.2' badges
- New Exhaust?? (<- Need advice!)
- BBS RS 16" wheels
Any help/advice is appreciated
Dave
