Hi all, so I've been a member of the forum for a good few years now thanks to my first project being a mk2f polo when I was 15 had my first job and just wanted a vw to mod soooo badly.

Then when I passed I soon learned that insurance is the biggest issue when it comes to driving, so I turned to the wonderful world of aircooled and classic insurance, and found myself in love with my VW type 3 Fastback. I've now just started university and so decided I needed a more reliable car for daily use! before the normal abuse.... I may only be 19 but i payed for this car myself, no help from mummy and daddy and the student loan wasn't even spent on it!!!...well it was spent on wheels... but anyway

I'll chuck some pictures in here because that's the part everybody is interested in!

First of all coilovers were a MUST

And then wheels and tires were next! I went for Dare RS's just cause real bbs didnt seem feesable on a daily. 10j et30 rears, and 8.5j et30 fronts

I personally like to be able to see behind me and you can't really see it cause the screen is black round the edges. Bit up to you at the end of the day

They're just JOM coilovers, they're actually better than i expected but they are quite a hard ride

Has anybody on here Bought a splitter for they're polo 6r?

I would like one, but at £100+ I want to make sure it's the right one!

I'm looking for a gloss black finish also, I've seen a few textured ones but I don't think they look any good as the material doesn't fit in with anything else,

Anyway if anybody could link me up to one they've had a good experience with?

I've just got hold of some new wheels!

Hopefully I'll have them fitted and some pictures by late next week

How she's sitting now on the new rh zw3's

Might colour code the centres, the rear wheels are getting new lips, 1" wider making them a staggered 8/9 set

Then I can get rid of the 10mm spacers that are currently spacing the rear out :)

Got a couple more updates, new wheels and a splitter and a little lower

I've actually already sold the dares! And I got them from an employee at awsome gti

What width are your rears? off to pick some RH Cups up tonight that are 8J front and 9J rear, both ET35 so not sure whether they will fit.

polo looks awesome on the rh wheels good choice great little car

Looks nice, but preferred the previous wheels.

So torn between a new golf and a new polo, especially when they can look this nice
