1983 Golf GTI 2.0 8v clean and simple

For sale is my 83 Golf GTI. It has been restored about 5 years ago, and has had a lot of upgrades carried out while it was being rebuilt. It is a non power steering and non A/C car. Mileage is right around 90k on the body. Not sure about the motor, but it was rebuilt before it went into the car. Clutch was done about 4k miles ago. The dash board is in very good condition, not all cracked like so many others. The car does not have an alarm system, but does have a hidden fuel pump kill switch.

This car is in great shape, and ready to drive away. I have taken it on trips to Newcastle and back, which is almost 5 hours each way, and it has never given me any problems.

MOT was just done, it is good until November 28 2014. Only faults are both cv boots are slightly worn. While at the shop it had the oil and brake fluid changed, fuel filter replaced and spark plugs replaced.

Taxed until November 2014
