Hi all, I joined this forum to,do,some research on Polos for the wife, she is learning to drive and we would like a Polo for her as her 1st car, I drive a MK5 Golf myself, hope to find what I'm looking for and maybe become a valued member on here...thanks

I had one as a demonstrator when I worked at the local main dealer & it took all the punishment I threw at it !

Thanks for the replies! Sorry I've not been as active as I would of liked, it's this 'quiet' time of year!!! I'm a meat delivery lorry driver, so as you can imagine work is slow at this time of year lol!!

Will be doing some research into this ASAP really, I have a version of VAGCOM, not sure how recent. But it worked with my 98' golf gti lol

My nan had a 03' 53 plate. 1.2 3cyl from new, she ran it for 3yrs...I say ran, probably put 2-3k on it lol, wish I could of had that one, nearly used!
