Morning all !

Just picked up my first Polo .. (2003 1.4 tdi) which I'm hoping will last me years ! Trouble is I am useless when it comes to cars ... So I thought I'd come on here and try and pick peoples brains, and take any advice going.

First job, new timing belt .. That's a gimme !

What in after is to reduce the noise from the engine a little .. So best oil to use ? To flush or not ? Slick 50 or similar ? Any advice would be great :)
