After being out of the vw world for about a year I thought it was about time I got another. Plans are to get it sorted for summer and get it on the road come insurance renewal time.

I plan to tidy body work up and get some nice wheels on it (suggestions more than welcome) and further down line a leather interior and a tinker with the engine :)

Picked these up last night. Trial fitted one this morning and think they look pretty sweet :) refurbing them myself which could go either way as it's my first attempt lol. Was thinking the same silver as the car or white?

Been a few small updates. Joey modded my headlights. Found a black fuel cap at the scrap yard and brought some air vents. Off to body shop Monday then I plan to clean up the engine and make a boot build for my sub and amp along with other little mods.

Latest update. Cars in body shop and the wheels are going into primer, next on the agenda is to sort out a CD player and get my sub and amp wired in then to fit an alarm for damage limitation come insurance time lol. Does anybody know if you can assign a private plate to a car if it isn't taxed?
