I think he is just trying to be funny. Which he isn't..

Personally I wouldn't go for black, imo it completely hides the contours/design of any alloy and almost looks tacky. That said it does work on some of the more expensive machinery.

It looks like you have the 6 spoke 15" option rims on there at the moment? maybe just get them refurbed in a darker silver? the other obvious choices are of the BBS variety

Dont get me wrong black wheels look cool but I'm not the biggest fan :) prefer them like that, thanks for the advise though :)
