Cheap mk2 mx5. standard. Long mot. Quick sale needed.

So as I am breaking my car to get my money back out of it. I am now looking to sell my mk2 R reg 12k twilight blue mx5. The car has been great it has not let me down. I have done around 4k since I got it back in June. I use it daily but time to move on and more importantly I need the money.

Additional Information:

It has high miles but it has a thick folder of history including gear box rebuild, service, cambelts etc. It has a small bit of rot on the drivers rear arch ( please see pic). The body is straight and no dents from what I have seen. The paint work is not the best. the front bumper has a lot of stone chips, and there is a 50 pence size bit of paint missing from the pass rear quarter ( again see pic ). The sills have been replaced not to long ago. They still need painting. They are just covered in grey stone chip.

Interior is ok. It needs a new center console as it has a speaker in the cup-holder section and is missing the lid. Not exactly expensive. The drivers seat and the steering wheel show their wear. The drivers seat has bolster wear and the steering wheel rubber has come loose at the top and can twist. Again not expensive. The rest is all good.

The soft top needs a clean and treating to some blackening agent to make it look better again. I have been using a hardtop so haven't done it. The soft top did not leak when I was using it. I has a couple of tiny holes in both sides (around 5mm).

So I have put this car down a lot as I don't want people to start thinking it is awesome. However this car has got me to work every day. It took me to Cornwall and back numerous times in the summer which is a 5 hr drive each way. It is a good straight car with a long mot.
